# Get the current key

> Describe the API key you call with: its name, organization, what it can do, the projects it reaches and when it expires.

Describes the key you sent, so your harness can check its setup before it sends a file.

**Authorization** `string` *required*

`Bearer` followed by the [API key](/api-reference/api-keys) to describe.

## Response

**name** `string`

The key's name.

**organization** `string`

Your organization's name.

**can** `string[]`

What the key can do: `["results:write"]`, send results and check the uploads it sent.

**projects** `string[] | string`

The acronyms of the projects the key can send to, or `"all_web"` for every web project.

**expiresAt** `string | null`

When the key expires, as an ISO 8601 timestamp, or `null` if it never expires.

## Errors
